TV TecStyle Visions celebrates its tenth anniversary, thereby endowing the “Golden Shirt Award 2018” with its slogan for next year:
“Celebration”. Everyone who would like to celebrate with us can uniquely enhance anniversary celebration with an appropriate outfit:

whether stylish chic, a striking design, loosely flowing, laser-sharp or simply blingtastic bling! There are no limits to the imaginations of textile finishers – ultimately the outfit should be something really unique.
Design your award-worthy outfit for the anniversary celebration and give free rein to your creativity: whether elegant, sophisticated, playful, cheeky or simply glamorous….the spotlight simply has to be on the number “10”.
Get our judging panel cheering with excitement with your “Celebration” creation! Demonstrate your design and technical capabilities in textile decoration by taking part in the “Golden Shirt Award 2018”!

Young, up-and-coming textile finishers are also invited to take part in the Golden Shirt Award to give a fresh impetus to the sector! Monetary prizes to the value of €10,000 await the winners!

THE CHALLENGE

The focus has been consciously placed on the decoration of T-shirts. The T-shirts should incorporate the current competition theme and be finished either with a single, or a combination, of decorative techniques: embroidery, printing (screen, transfer and digital printing), direct flocking, rhinestones and laser branding. A further prerequisite is that, once finished, the T-shirt can still be worn every day.
It is immaterial whether the T-shirt is long-sleeved or short-sleeved. And there are simply no limits to your creativity in terms of design and realisation!

PARTICIPATION

All textile finishers, designers, schoolchildren and students of textile-related subjects and other creatives are invited to take part. Every participant may submit up to three individual entries for the Golden Shirt Award up to and including 29 September 2017. A 15-strong judging panel made up of members of the TV trade fair committee will select the winners of the Golden Shirt Award 2018. The entries will be assessed on their technical and creative realisation, taking into account the theme, as well as their innovative design. The winners will be notified in writing in advance of the trade fair.

PRESENTATION AND AWARD CEREMONY

The Golden Shirt Award 2018 will be presented at TV TecStyle Visions, Europe’s leading trade fair for textile decoration and promotion, which will be held in Stuttgart from 15 to 17 February 2018. The competition entries will be showcased there in a special exhibition, and the organisers reserve the right to pre-select the pieces to be exhibited.

The expected 11,000 visitors to TV TecStyle Visions will be able to take part in a ‘Visitors’ Vote’, thereby influencing the presentation of the Public Prize. The Public Prize will be awarded after TV TecStyle Visions and will be announced in the TVP trade journal.
